La Taqueria was born in 2009, through an idea of creating a pinche taco stand, which resembles the taste and feel of street tacos around Mexico. These tacos are usually the best and are often referred to as pinche tacos. Chef Tina teamed up with the owners and took a trip to Mexico in order to bring the tastes and ambience of Mexico back to Vancouver. She then created taco flavours with Vancouverites in mind. Busy from the get-go, the owners opened a 2nd location in 2011.
